![]() Kelly Scott
If you’re ever on Main Street on a Saturday, you are sure to see Kelly Scott and his chuck wagon. His love of all things western began as a young boy spending summers on his sister’s ranch in Utopia where he learn to ride horses and herd goats. He would later embrace his inner cowboy and become a successful rodeo clown, a farrier, ranch hand, wagon driver, chuck wagon cook, and a consummate story teller. Acquiring a collection of wagons, buggies, and equipment, Kelly has provided a western authenticity and Texas spirit to movie and television productions, parades and special events. He’s so good he often finds himself appearing in the movie or commercial, representing the iconic Texas cowboy, chuck wagon cook, or pioneer. He is soon to be immortalized on a mural by local artist Bill Stevens welcoming visitors to Bandera. |
