Foster Baird Doane Frontier Times Museum Benefactor
A successful businessman in San Antonio, Doane built a beautiful home on a hill outside Bandera. In 1957, he learned the Frontier Times Museum was for sale following the death of the museum's founder, J. Marvin Hunter. Doane purchased the museum in its entirety, ensuring that future generations will be able to enjoy this unique museum.
